The Autograph Book
Amongst a bag of photographs left in my care by my late Dad, I discovered a lonely autograph book filled with signatures of Serviceman and others who visited Brisbane during World War 2.
The book also includes two Autographs from a young lady - Jessie Maud Wilkins who came from Mirriwinni/Babinda and who seems to have been working in Brisbane and living at a boarding house "Binna Burra" at 32-44 George St which I believe is part of the Mansions Buildings.

I do not know why this book was in my Dad's possessions. Indeed, his signature does not appear within the book. Perhaps he collected the signatories?
My aim is to complete a picture of the names held within this small repository and piece together a picture of their lives.
